Why the Suns can win: Phoenix is the hottest team in the Western Conference, going 14-2 after March. All-star forward Amaré Stoudemire propelled the Suns to the incredible finish as he averaged 26.8 points, 9.4 rebounds and shot 59.7 percent in the last 16 games. Suns lead the league in scoring at 110.2 points per game.

Why the Trail Blazers can win: Portland might not have all-star guard Brandon Roy available, but the Trail Blazers have already overcome adversity this season, having lost centers Greg Oden and Joel Przybilla. They won the season series against Phoenix, 2-1.

Difference maker: Miller, Trail Blazers. Without Roy, Miller will have to make plays and create scoring opportunities for LaMarcus Aldridge and himself. The veteran has the ability to make Suns guard Steve Nash work defensively.

Bottom line: Suns in five.
